Therapy can be incredibly beneficial for anyone considering starting, especially if they're navigating personal challenges or seeking clarity in life. Through counselling, together we can gain deeper self-awareness, develop healthier coping strategies, uncover underlying issues that may be contributing to stress and build emotional resilience.
I aim to provide a safe, non-judgmental space to explore thoughts, emotions, and patterns of behavior. Whether you're facing a specific problem or just need someone to talk to, working together can be a powerful step toward healing, growth, and greater well-being.
"The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I change."
Carl Rogers
My journey to becoming a counsellor has been shaped by diverse and profound experiences across various care settings. This role underscored the importance of empathy and active listening in facilitating healing.

I engaged with clients from diverse backgrounds, each presenting unique challenges. These experiences have taught me that while I may not have all the answers, I can collaborate with clients to navigate life's complexities, fostering resilience and understanding. I'm a registered member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) adhering to their ethical principles and practice standards.

My integrative approach allows me to draw from a range of therapeutic models and techniques enabling me to adapt to different stages of your journey which can reflect the complexity of a human experience.
My relationship with you remains at the center of my work ethos. I’m aware the beginning of this process can feel huge and overwhelming, so essentially co-creating a safe, confidential space is key. A relational approach encourages authentic interaction and increases emotional attunement.
"Our basic blueprint as humans is connection and bonding - sometimes we just need the right support at the right time to find our way back home." Scott Lyon
An embodied approach recognizes the deep connection between the mind and body, bringing awareness to bodily sensations, movement, and posture, this helps to access feelings that may be difficult to articulate verbally.
Embodied work encourages presence and self-awareness with the aim to reconnect with their physical selves.
I offer in person sessions throughout various locations in London.
I work remotely for clients further afield and abroad primarily using Microsoft teams.

What can I expect from counselling?
Counselling provides a safe, non-judgemental space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Together, we work toward understanding and positive change at a pace that feels right for you.
How long does each session last?
Sessions typically last around 50 minutes, though this can be discussed based on your individual needs.
How many sessions will I need?
The number of sessions varies from person to person. Some people find a few sessions helpful, while others benefit from longer-term support. We’ll review your progress regularly to decide what feels right.
Is everything I say confidential?
Yes. What you share is confidential, with a few legal exceptions—such as if there is a risk of serious harm to you or others. I’ll explain these in full during our first session.
What issues can you help me with?
I work with a wide range of issues including bereavement, anxiety, depression, stress, relationship challenges, self-esteem, trauma, and more. Feel free to contact me if you’re unsure whether I can support your specific concern.
What approach or methods do you use?
I use an integrative approach, combining different therapeutic styles based on your unique needs. I may also include relational and embodied methods to support a deeper level of connection and awareness.
How do I know if counselling is working?
You may begin to notice shifts in how you think, feel, or respond to situations. We will check in regularly to reflect on your progress and make sure you're getting what you need.
What if I don’t feel comfortable or want to stop?
Your comfort is important. If at any point you feel counselling isn’t right for you, you're free to pause or stop. I encourage open conversation so we can address any concerns together.
Can I contact you between sessions?
Generally, contact between sessions is limited to practical matters like rescheduling. If you need urgent support, I can help direct you to appropriate crisis services.
What are your fees, and do you offer sliding scale or low-cost options?
My standard fee is £45, and I offer a limited number of sliding scale spaces. Please get in touch to discuss availability.
What happens if I miss or cancel an appointment?
I ask for 24 hours' notice for cancellations. Missed or late-cancelled sessions may be charged at the full rate.
What should I do if I have a crisis or emergency?
Counselling is not a crisis service. If you're in immediate danger or need urgent support, please contact emergency services or a 24/7 mental health helpline call 111.
Feel free to contact me with any questions, I will endeavour to respond promptly.
